PPH Pilot Programs between Sino-UK, Sino-Sweden and Sino-Iceland Extend from July 1 (Jul-2016)
The State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) and the UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO), the Swedish Patent and Registration Office (PRV) and the Icelandic Patent Office (IPO) initiated a two-year Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) pilot program on July 1, 2014 which was finished on June 30, 2016.
SIPO has respectively reached agreements with the three Offices on the extension of the PPH pilot programs, wherein Sino-UK PPH pilot program will be extended indefinitely from July 1, 2016 with the requirements and procedures remaining unchanged; Sino-Sweden PPH pilot program will be extended indefinitely from July 1, 2016 with the requirements and procedures remaining unchanged; and Sino-Iceland PPH pilot program will be extended for three years from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019 with the requirements and procedures remaining unchanged.
